ENHANCED OSTEOCONDUCTIVITY
The interconnecting micro, meso, and macropores support capillary action of blood and fluids, deep penetration of osteogenic cells, and ossification of the synthetic matrix. The rough surface provides the perfect scaffold for osteoblasts to grow along, angiogenesis, and vascularization.

IDEAL RESORPTION TIME
With a low bulk density, the scaffold is maintained with minimal material to be resorbed. CERASORB® M is resorbed from both outer surfaces and inner pore surfaces, allowing resorption at the same rate of new bone formation.

MORE SITE STABILITY
The irregularly shaped granules facilitate interlocking, enhance mechanical stability, and largely rule out micro movements. The large primary particle size and optimal sintering prevent premature disintegration into micro particles which can elicit macrophage activity.

NATURAL OSSEOINDUCTIVITY
CERASORB® M can be mixed with blood from defect site to provide enhanced healing. The resulting putty can be easily molded and applied, allowing the patient's own cells to stimulate growth.

HIGH PATIENT ACCEPTANCE
CERASORB® M is readily accepted by patients thanks to the fully synthetic origin and because a harvesting procedure is not necessary. Patient information need not address possible complications and risks of bone harvesting, immunological reactions, or infections due to materials of biological origin.

EASY AND SAFE HANDLING
CERASORB® M comes in different morsel sizes, making it an ideal grafting material for various needs. It has a place in implant treatment and for filling voids left by apicectomies, cystectomies, osteotomies for bite correction, and surgical removal of non-erupted teeth.
